General Conference
The United Methodist Church’s top legislative body has been postponed until August 2024 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.  For more information on this and other happenings in the United Methodist Church, visit the United Methodist News Service at newsdesk@umcom.org.
General Conference is the top policy-making body of The United Methodist Church which meets once every four years.  The conference can revise church law, as well as adopt resolutions on current moral, social, public policy and economic issues. It also approves plans and budgets for church-wide programs.
South Carolina Annual Conference
The South Carolina Annual Conference will be June 5-8.  It will be in a virtual format rather than in-person.
This is the body of lay and clergy delegates that make decisions for the entire South Carolina conference.
