Costa Rica Mission Trip
Mission Trip Plans for 2023
Due to traveling and health issues affected by the COVID-19 virus, Trinity’s UMVIM mission trip to Costa Rica for 2022 was cancelled. Team leaders will be working to determine the possibility of a mission trip for 2023. Info will be posted when a decision is made.
A Brief History
Our seventh Trinity mission trip was held January 18-26, 2020.
(The 2021 & 2022 trips were cancelled due to the coronavirus).
Trinity sponsored this trip with the approval of UMVIM (United Methodist Volunteers in Mission). Lodging was at the Methodist Rural Center, located in Ciudad Quesada. The center is now in transition; we will be informing you of a new director for it as well as a new name for the camp itself.
Our Goal
Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, working hand in hand with our Costa Rican Christian brothers and sisters offering projects and ministries that include construction, Vacation Bible School, and women’s ministries, and distribution of items such as Bibles, toys for children, reading glasses, etc., as they are available for us to take with us and hand out in the neighboring rural communities.
