United Women in Faith

Inspire       Influence      Impact
We are women like you, a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood.  With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.  Join us, because love in action can change the world.
We’ve changed our name to better reflect how we answer our calling today.
Our new website is uwfaith.org.
At Trinity, our women meet monthly as a unit on the third Wednesday at 10 am in Asbury Hall.

Our Mission

The largest women’s organization in the world,  United Women in Faith emphasizes services for women, youth, and children by supporting missions in thousands of communities in every state and in over 50 countries around the world.
United Women in Faith is a community of believers in God and disciples of Christ who are called to deepen their personal faith and to provide vital corporate ministries of worship, education, mission, fellowship, and evangelism in the church and the world.

Purpose

The organized unit of United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

You Are Invited

All women are invited to join one of the three circles at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Come, join women just like you — women of all ages; single and married, working and retired, moms, grandmothers, and even great grandmothers.  We are women who love to travel, quilt, cook, garden, read, do crafts, enjoy music, and the arts.  We learn from each other and make life-long friends.  We seek to serve the least of these and to empower women to inspire others, be leaders that influence change, and impact the world through advocacy.

We are faith, hope, and love in action.
FAITH – Thousands of women participate in our reading programs and educational opportunities annually to grow spiritually, become more deeply rooted in Christ, and put faith into action.
HOPE – Our national mission institutions empower women, care for children, educate and equip youth, care for the neglected, advocate for social justice issues, create economic opportunities and strengthen neighborhoods.
LOVE – Our members give out of their love for the world and provide financial support for national mission institutions, higher education scholarships for international students, and 121 programs taking place in 110 countries.
ACTION – Members’ voices are heard around the world as they call for justice on issues such as immigration, human trafficking, domestic violence, health care, and the environment.
